Course Information:
This course is designed to fulfill the requirements of The Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners Rules Sect 363.11(b). Specifically, "Before a Plumbing Inspector, Journeyman, or Master Plumber may qualify to take the Medical Gas Piping Installation endorsement examination, the applicant must complete a training program approved by the Board which pertains to subject matter applicable to the installation of medical gas piping systems" per the (NFPA) 99 Health Care Facilities Code. Also, per new rules, it is strongly advised that each candidate for the Journeyman or Master Med Gas endorsement complete a sufficient amount of brazing practice prior to attending the class. Course fee includes a copy of the NFPA 99 current edition (2024) to keep (a $134 value).
