This event showcases the skills, knowledge, and accuracy of the state's most talented industry newcomers, and we are extremely proud of each of the following contestants:

- Guy Holmes – R.E.C. Industries, Bryan
- Isaiah Menchaca – A-RAM Plumbing
- John Rice – MMM Plumbing, Heating, & A.C.
- Tyler Snider – Shelton Plumbing
Dimitri Gilbert with Century Mechanical Contractors finished in first place and was eligible to represent the State of Texas in the National Apprenticeship contest held at PHCCCONNECT October 4-7, 2022, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dimitri and his wife are expecting a new baby in October and so our contest winner declined to participate in the National showcase.
We wish him and his family all the best and know our second-place finalist Scott Hicks, Jr. with TDIndustries, Inc. Houston will represent Texas well.
